Jeune King Prawn to Stand at Newlands in Australia

Hong Kong group II winner Jeune King Prawn, who raced for Philip S.H. Lau, will enter stud at Mr. and Mrs. Walter Alteri's Newlands Thoroughbreds Farm near Seymour in the Australian state of Victoria. Bred in Australia by Tremon Thoroughbreds, 5-year-old Jeune King Prawn (Danehill -- Western Chorus, by Western Symphony) won eight of 12 races and earned $1,222,070 in Hong Kong. He captured two group stakes and was twice group I placed. He raced once in Japan, but finished unplaced.
