Darley Stud Management, a division of Sheikh Mohammed al Maktoum's Dalham Hall Stud, announced the retirement of grade II winner Josr Algarhoud to Lavington Stud near Sussex, England. Josr Algarhoud won the Scottish Equitable Gimcrack Stakes (Eng-II) as a 2-year-old for his maiden win for Sheikh Ahmed al Maktoum, then later was transferred to the Maktoum family's Godolphin operation. For the latter outfit, he won the Reed Print Beeswing Stakes (Eng-III) and Prix de la Porte Maillot (Fr-III) and placed in a pair of English group II events.

Named for a bridge in Dubai, 4-year-old Josr Algarhound (Darshaan -- Pont-Aven, by Try My Best) enters stud with three wins from seven starts and earnings of $221,016. He will stand for Darley for £4,000 (approximately $5,750).
