Ana Marie, third in the group I French Oaks last season, won her 2003 debut, the group II Prix d'Harcourt for older horses on Sunday at Longchamp.

Trained by Philippe Demercastel and ridden by Christophe Soumillon for owner Ecurie Bader, Ana Marie, a 4-year-old daughter of Anabaa, collared favored Fair Mix in the final furlong and prevailed by a short neck. The final time was 2:03.10 for the 1 1/4-mile trip on a turf course rated as good.

Valentino came from far back to finish well for third, one length behind.
