Jockey Jason Lumpkins won three races at Turfway Park Sunday to tie Kris Prather's 2001 winter/spring meeting record of 109 wins.
Lumpkins, who moved to Kentucky from his Northern California base this winter, has five rides scheduled on Monday. The winter/spring season, which lost several days due to terrible weather, concludes on Thursday.
He is winning at a 30 percent clip at Turfway and has recorded six five-win days during the meeting.
On six occasions, Lumpkins has had five-win days during the Winter-Spring meet.
He won on Sunday with Exude ($4.80) in the first race, Alleged Whisper ($9.40) in the sixth and No Restraint ($5.20) in the eighth.
Trainer Bernie Flint won a pair of races Sunday and now has 44 during the meet. He broke John Parisella's 1996 record of 40 wins on Friday.
