Thunders On to Walnut Lane Farm in Ohio

Thunders On, a winning son of Thunder Gulch, has entered stud at Walnut Lane Farm near Springfield, Ohio. The 6-year-old chestnut horse stands as the property of Czyzewski Racing Stable. His introductory 2003 fee will be $500.

Thunders On, out of the Caerleon mare First Amendment, won two of 14 starts and earned $8,740. According to Joe Czyzewski, he was injured during his last start, a mile test at Beulah Park on Feb. 23. In his previous start, at Beulah on Feb. 9, Thunders On won going 1 1/16 miles by 2 3/4 lengths.

"He's well bred and looks just like his daddy," Czyzewski said. "He was honest, and he tried. I think he'll progress well in Ohio."
