The "Racing from Santa Anita" television replay show, a fixture on local evening television for many years until this season, returns to Los Angeles airwaves on March 26, the track announced.
Hosted by track announcer Trevor Denman, it will be on channel 56, KDOC, five racing nights a week at 7:30. The show is currently seen only on weekends on KDOC and five nights a week at 1:30 a.m. on Fox Sports West.
The replays will be offered thanks to an agreement reached with several Southern California tracks and the KDOC network in Southern California. KDOC will also feature a daily wrap-up show from Oak Tree, Fairplex Park and the spring/summer and fall/winter meets at Hollywood Park. Those replay shows are to be aired at 7:30 every night except Sunday, when it can be seen at midnight.
The California Marketing Committee of the Thoroughbred Owners of California is underwriting the race replay programming.
Del Mar is currently evaluating whether or not they'll participate in the KDOC replay show agreement.
