Valenzuela to Serve Additional Three-Day Ban

Jockey Patrick Valenzuela has withdrawn his appeal of a three-day suspension issued by Santa Anita stewards on Dec. 31 and will serve the days concurrent with the five-day ban he is to begin on Friday.

Valenzuela, the Santa Anita meet's leading rider, will not ride from March 21-29.
