Erin Crady, the director of marketing and communications for the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association, has been named the new executive director of Thoroughbred Charities of America.
Crady will continue to work in her TOBA position while assuming the additional duties with TCA, which is operated as the charitable arm of the national owners and breeders’ organization.
Crady will be responsible for managing all aspects of TCA including development, fundraising, and marketing. She will also manage the annual TCA stallion season auction, which this year will be held Dec. 4 at Keeneland.
“Erin has done a marvelous job as director of marketing and communications for TOBA and we expect that she will help bring TCA to the next level,” TCA president Herb Moelis said in a release.
“TCA is a fantastic organization that has assisted numerous Thoroughbred-industry related charities,” said Crady. “I am excited to be a part of such a tremendous organization and further the good work that TCA has already accomplished.”
TCA was formed in 1990 to raise and distribute funds for charities in the Thoroughbred industry which provide a better life for Thoroughbreds both during and after their racing careers by supporting retirement, rescue, research, and by helping the people who work with them.
