Kinsman Stable's heavy favorite Ebony Breeze battled Crimson And Roses for the lead early and Dakota Light late to tally a half-length victory in Sunday's $150,000 Florida Oaks (gr. III) at Tampa Bay Downs.

Ridden by Mark Guidry, the 3-10 favorite collected her fourth consecutive victory, her first in a graded stakes. Dakota Light, carrying high weight of 122 pounds with Eibar Coa aboard, nipped Crimson And Roses by a head for second in the six-horse field. Final time for the 1 1/16-mile test for 3-year-old fillies was 1:45.20.

The Kentucky homebred by Belong to Me collected her fourth victory overall in eight starts and her first in a graded stakes for trainer Bill Mott. She also won at beyond seven furlongs for the first time. Ebony Breeze has won three in a row at Tampa Bay this year. The winner's share of $90,000 balloons her career bankroll to nearly $170,000.

Ebony Breeze paid $2.60, $2.20 and $2.10. Dakota Light returned $3.40 and $2.10. Crimson And Roses paid $2.10 to show.
