The National Thoroughbred Racing Association has announced the addition of Wells Fargo Insurance to its group of suppliers participating in the NTRA Advantage program.
According to an NTRA release, Wells Fargo Insurance Services will act as an official supplier to the NTRA under the five-year agreement.
“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to partner with the NTRA,” said John G. Beam, Jr., chairman of Wells Fargo Insurance Services of Kentucky, Inc., said in the release. “Wells Fargo Insurance Services and the NTRA have designed a program that incorporates several medical plans that NTRA members have been asking for, and we look forward to providing coverage to many NTRA members.”
“Their participation not only strengthens the collective buying power of NTRA Advantage, it does so in an area of vital importance to those associated with the horse industry,” said Terry McElfresh, senior vice president of NTRA Advantage, in the release.
According to the release, NTRA Advantage “delivers substantial cost savings—through local dealers—on products and services from its official suppliers. Value-added services are also available through NTRA Advantage, including employee training in equipment operations and usage surveys that help buyers develop a long-term buying strategy based on equipment needs and the timing of their purchases."
Other NTRA Advantage Official Suppliers include Sherwin Williams; John Deere; UPS; Toshiba; Office Depot; The Herald…Graphic Communications, Marketing Solutions; Hallway Feeds; Equine Travel Advantage; and Moxie Equestrian.
