Trainer Patrick Biancone's Whywhywhy hit the Gulfstream Park track Thursday morning, working a solid five furlongs in 59 seconds. Whywhywhy is pointed toward the March 15 Swale Stakes, on the Florida Derby (gr. I) undercard.

"He worked very well. We didn't ask him to do too much and he did just what we wanted nice and easy," said Biancone. "He's right on target for the Swale."

In his last start, the son of Mr. Greely finished fifth in the Fountain of Youth Stakes (gr. I). The grade I winner made a solid run into the far turn and then flattened out. "We felt the chance of him doing well at two turns was just one in ten, but we had to try," the trainer said.

Jockey Edgar Prado will have the mount aboard Whywhywhy in the Swale.
