Champion Orientate Has First Mare in Foal

Sprint champion Orientate has his first mare, Ma Kitty, pronounced in foal. Stakes-placed Ma Kitty, a daughter of Meadowlake who earned $159,644, is a half-sister to grade II winner Sagasious and additional added-money winner Miss Dominique. Orientate (Mt. Livermore -- Dream Team, by Cox's Ridge) is owned by Graham J. Beck's Gainesway Farm and Arrowfield Stud and stands at Gainesway near Lexington.
Gainesway also announced that grade I winner Officer also has his first mare, Oops (by Silver Deputy), in foal. Officer is by Bertrando out of St. Helens Shadow (by Septieme Ciel) and is owned by Gainesway and Dennis Narlinger.
