Snow Forces Laurel to Cancel Once Again

(track report)For the fifth time this month, the Maryland Jockey Club Wednesday canceled live racing at Laurel Park because of inclement weather in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. areas.
Snow is expected to continue throughout the day Wednesday, with accumulations of two inches expected by rush hour. An additional four inches of snow is expected tonight and a third storm might hit the region on Thursday night.
Laurel Park was also canceled on February 7, 15, 16 and 17 because of snow on the racetrack.
