Centre Stalls Colts Tops Adelaide Yearling Sale's Summer Session

A Centre Stalls -- Press To Play colt brought the top price of 44,000 Australian dollars (approximately $26,343 in U.S. funds) Friday as the Magic Millions Adelaide yearling sale closed with its summer session. Victoria trainer Rick Hore-Lacy purchased the colt from Willow Grove Stud.
In all, 105 horses were sold for a gross of 1,206,500 Australian dollars ($722,332) and an average of 11,490 Australian dollars ($6,879). In 2002, the 144 yearlings sold grossed 2,198,250 Australian dollars and averaged 15,266 Australian dollars.
