Richard Brown has been appointed as Fasig-Tipton’s new European representative. Now working for Blandford Bloodstock, Brown is a regular participant in sales in North America and throughout the world. His role as a partner and agent with Blandford Bloodstock will remain unchanged.
Fasig-Tipton’s president, Boyd Browning, added that Brown's new position was part of a long-term, strategic plan for the Kentucky Thoroughbred auction company.
“On both the buy and sell side of the U.S. auction equation, Europe plays a vital role. Richard has already developed unique clients, particularly with a younger generation of Thoroughbred players. He also has his finger on the pulse of emerging markets around the world. We are very exited to welcome Richard to the Fasig-Tipton team. He will work with Terence Collier to ensure a high level of contact and service for this important, expanding clientele.”
From his office in Newmarket, Richard Brown added, “It really is a privilege to be involved with such a forward-thinking sales company as Fasig-Tipton. I am greatly looking forward to assisting the company as it further develops its presence in Europe, particularly in building relationships with European vendors and purchasers."
