West Point Thoroughbreds, a provider of Thoroughbred racing partnerships, has hired Elizabeth Crow as its West Coast associate.
Crow will be based in Pasadena, Calif. and will serve as assistant to executive vice president Jeffrey Bloom. In her new role, she will be responsible for assisting with client services, horse operations, and sales on the West Coast.
Crow recently graduated from the University of Louisville with a bachelor’s degree in equine business. She served as president of the university’s equestrian team and co-president of the Thoroughbred racing club. She also attended the University of Louisville’s 2009 Equine Business School in England, where she participated in seminars by prominent trainers, bloodstock agents, and officials from British racing organizations, and visited major training and breeding facilities.
In addition to her involvement on campus, Elizabeth brings ample field experience to the WPT team. She has worked as a stable assistant and groom for Hall of Fame trainer Jonathan Sheppard, and worked in the racing secretary’s office of Pimlico Race Course in 2007 and Churchill Downs in 2008.
