The California Horse Racing Board will resume audio-only webcasts of its regular monthly meetings for the first time this year June 22 at Hollywood Park.
The proceedings can be heard through the “webcasts” link on the CHRB website, www.chrb.ca.gov.
The June 22 meeting is to begin at 9:30 a.m. Among the items on the agenda are three matters pertaining to MI Developments, including its future plans for horse racing at Santa Anita Park and Golden Gate Fields and the status of the Oak Tree lease at Santa Anita.
Background materials for the agenda items will be available on the CHRB website by June 18.
The board discontinued its meeting webcast at the start of the year due to a lack of funding. Webcasts, both video and audio, were started in June 2007. They had been previously paid for by the California Marketing Committee as a service to promote racing in the state.
