Captain Squire Works for Golden Shaheen

Captain Squire, winner of the FedEx Sprint in the Sunshine Millions last month, worked five furlongs on Santa Anita's "muddy" main track Friday in 1:00.20 under Amy Mullins, wife of trainer Jeff Mullins.
"We're a few days late (with the work), but that's OK," said Mullins, who has designs on the $2 million Golden Shaheen at six furlongs in Dubai on March 29 for Captain's Squire's next race. "He looked like he handled the track fine."
