Lym Named Woodbine Racing Secretary

Steve Lym, a former trainer and Woodbine's chief clocker, has been appointed racing secretary for Woodbine Entertainment.

Lym, 34, conditioned racehorses in the late 1980's and most recently also served as the Equibase chart challer at Woodbine.

"I'm excited about this new opportunity and challenge," Lym said. "I'm looking forward to maintaining the high standards set by the previous race secretaries here at Woodbine."

Chris Evans, the previous racing secretary, will continue in his role as Woodbine's director of racing.
