For the third consecutive year, Sea of Tranquility earned top honors as New Jersey's horse of the year. The 7-year-old won his richest race in 2002, the Salvator Mile Handicap (gr. III). Dennix Drazin bred the horse who races for Triple M. Farm. The Thoroughbred Breeders of New Jersey announced other winners and their divisions are: Kaw Liga Sioux, 2-year-old colt; Summer Swing, champion sprinter; Willie's Luv, 3-year-old filly; American Freedom, champion turf horse; Blinded By Love, handicap mare; Forever partners, 2-year-old filly; Our Wildcat, 3-year-old colt...Finger Lakes will hold 162 days of live racing in 2003. The schedule is awaiting approval by the New York State Racing and Wagering Board. The season is scheduled to start April 18 through Nov. 29. Racing will start with M-Tu-/Fr-Sat., and move to a five day racing week (including Sunday) beginning on May 11.
