"She's doing just fine," McGaughey said. "I gave her a rest after the Breeders' Cup. She was at Payson Park and I worked her several times up there. I just brought her to Gulfstream and now I'll start to get serious with her. If everything goes all right, I'll run her in the Forward Gal ($100,000, grade III stakes for 3-year-old fillies at seven furlongs on March 14). That's the race I'm aiming at for her first start back."

Senor Swinger work an easy half-mile :49 2/5 breezing Wednesday. "It was a good work and he's doing fine," Goldfine said. "I had one of my exercise boys get on him this morning. I'm pointing him towards either the Florida Derby or the Louisiana Derby. I don't plan on running him again until then. I'll just train him up to the race."
Senor Swinger was an impressive winner in his maiden start at Hawthorne Race Course on Dec. 4. He came from off the pace to win going away by 6 ½ lengths in that 8 1/2-furlong test.
In his 2003 debut, Senor Swinger came from off the pace to get the lead in the stretch then battled back when challenged by Ten Cents A Shine and finished in a dead-heat for first with that opponent.
