Distorted Humor Share Tops Stallion Access Sale

A share in 2003's leading first crop sire, Distorted Humor, brought $225,000 to top the Stallion Access February sale of seasons and shares on Monday at Fasig-Tipton Kentucky's Newtown Paddocks near Lexington. A 2003 no guarantee season to Unbridled's Song was the most expensive season sold at $70,000. A no guarantee season to Seeking the Gold was bought back for $160,000, and no guarantee seasons to Danzig were bought back for $125,000 and $122,000, respectively.
In all, 22 seasons were sold for a gross of $207,300 and an average of $9,423. Two shares sold for a gross of $226,000 and an average of $113,000.
