Mimi's Bling, fresh off a victory Oct. 15 in Keeneland’s Buffalo Trace Franklin County Stakes, has been added to Fasig-Tipton’s Nov. 7 The November sale in Lexington.
Eaton Sales, agent, will offer Mimi’s Bling as a racing or broodmare prospect. She is co-owned by trainer Eddie Kenneally and Peter Kirwin. The 3-year-old filly, by Bernstein, out of the Meadowlakemare Meadow Oaks, won the Franklin County by a half-length over Canadian Ballet. The winner covered the 51/2 furlongs in turf in 1:03.48 under Julien Leparoux.
The $100,000 Franklin County was the stakes debut for Mimi’s Bling. She now has a record of 3-3-1 from 10 starts and has earned $115,494. Prior to her stakes win, she won an allowance going six furlongs on the turf at Kentucky Downs Sept. 13.
Mimi’s Bling was bred in Kentucky by David E. Hager II. She will sell as Hip. No. 187, the final offering during the select mixed sale. The sale begins at 4 p.m.
