Ashford Stud Posts 2001 Fees

Ashford Stud, a division of Irish-based Coolmore Stud, announced fees for 15 of its 16 stallions that will hold court at the Versailles, Ky., farm in 2001. The one exception is Fusaichi Pegasus, who is awaiting the Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I).

Heading the list is the $45,000 fee for Woodman, followed by the $40,000 for Southern Halo. Standing for $35,000 are High Yield, Spinning World, and Stravinsky. Those stallions standing for $30,000 are Grand Slam, Honour and Glory, and Tale of the Cat. A $25,000 fee is set for King of Kings, Royal Academy, and Thunder Gulch, and a price of $15,000 is set for Lure. Fees of $10,000 are for Bianconi and Louis Quatorze, and the one for Victory Speech is $7,500. All fees are payable Sept. 1 with a live foal guarantee.
