Champion Riboletta's First Foal

Riboletta, a champion racemare for Aaron and Marie Jones, produced her first foal, a Forestry filly, Jan. 22. Boarded at Taylor Made Farm near Nicholasville, Ky., the Brazilian-bred mare earned a 2000 Eclipse Award as top older female.
Riboletta (Roi Normand -- Joy Valley, by Ghadeer) was bred for the first time to Forestry in 2001. but she lost that offspring because of mare reproductive loss syndrome that spring. She was returned to training, but never started and was retired for good. Forestry, whose first foals are 2-year-olds, stands at Taylor Made.
