The National Thoroughbred Racing Association’s website, NTRA.com, will present a special edition of its NTRA Live! Webcast series April 23 at 5 p.m. EDT when ESPN/ABC analyst Randy Moss hosts an in-depth preview of the 137th running of the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), which will be run at Churchill Downs May 7.
The April 23 webcast will include video analysis of key prep races, commentary on what to watch for in Louisville, and Moss’s top five Derby horses. Moss will be joined on the Webcast by NTRA.com’s Eric Wing, who will discuss the Run for the Roses with Moss and relay questions to him from a concurrent live Web chat on NTRA.com.
The program will also include the live running of the Coolmore Lexington Stakes (gr. III) from Keeneland. The Lexington drew a field of six, led by the Steve Asmussen trainee Silver Medallion, who must win the Lexington to amass enough graded stakes earnings to secure a spot in the Kentucky Derby starting gate. Post time for the Coolmore Lexington is slated for 5:20 p.m. Access to the webcast, which is also accessible on iPhones and other smart phone devices, is free. The webcast is also available on the Livestream.com network at www.livestream.com/ntralive. Additionally, the Coolmore Lexington will be televised live on TVG.
In addition to live streaming of featured races, NTRA Live! features interviews with handicappers and on-track analysts; interactive chats with viewers; pre- and post-race analysis; free Equibase past performance data; handicapping selections; a one-click link to wagering opportunities through TVG, TwinSpires and Xpressbet; and other original and unique programming components.
