No. 2 Slew for WinStar

Six days after welcoming the first Seattle Slew offspring of the year, WinStar Farm welcomed the second. The new arrival, born the night of Jan. 15, is a filly out of graded stakes winner Pleasant Temper (by Storm Cat). The filly and mare are owned by WinStar. The farm is owned by Bill Casner and Kenny Troutt and is located near Versailles, Ky.
Seattle Slew impregnated only four mares last year prior to his death in May.
