First Foal for Grade II Winner Broken Vow

The first foal by grade II winner Broken Vow arrived Jan. 11 at Carter Thornton's Threave Main Stud near Paris, Ky. The bay colt is out of Tim Thornton and Meg Buckley's 7-year-old Brocco mare Let's Go Home, a half-sister to grade I winner Home At Last. This is her third foal.

Broken Vow (Unbridled -- Wedding Vow, by Nijinsky II) won nine of 14 starts and earned $725,296. He stands at Josephine Abercrombie's Pin Oak Stud near Versailles, Ky.
