Sentient Jet, a leading private aviation company in the United States, will be the official title sponsor of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships’ newest event, the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Sprint. Sentient is returning as a premier partner and the "Official Private Aviation Sponsor" of the Breeders' Cup for 2011. The company has been a premier partner of the Breeders’ Cup since 2008.
The Breeders’ Cup will be held Nov. 4-5 at Churchill Downs and will be televised live on ABC/ESPN and to more than 120 countries.
The $500,000 Sentient Jet Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Sprint, a race for 2-year-old males and females, is the third race that Sentient will serve in the role as title sponsor at the Breeders’ Cup. Sentient also is the title sponsor of the Breeders’ Cup Sprint (gr. I) and the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (gr. I).
“Sentient Jet’s support is appreciated by the horse racing industry,” said Carter Carnegie, Breeders’ Cup senior vice president of sales and business development. “We are pleased to have a partner in the private aviation category that continues to recognize the importance of the Breeders’ Cup as a marketing vehicle to reach our affluent audience.”
“It is our privilege to be sponsoring the Breeders’ Cup for the fourth year in a row, and to have the opportunity, through our partnership, to recognize excellence in Thoroughbred racing,” said Marty Guinoo, chief executive officer of Sentient Jet. “We are especially pleased to be sponsoring the new and exciting Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Sprint, in addition to the two other Sprint races we have entitled the past three years.”
