Millionaire Two Item Limit Retired

Joseph Graffeo announced that his millionaire racemare Two Item Limit has been retired from racing and will reside at Robert N. Clay's Three Chimneys Farm near Midway, Ky. Breeding plans have not been determined. for the 5-year-old mare.
An earner of $1,060,585, Two Item Limit won the Demoiselle (gr. II) and Tempted (gr. III) Stakes at two, plus the Black-Eyed Susan (gr. II) and Comely (gr. III) Stakes at three. She placed in four grade I stakes at three, including a close third in the Breeders' Cup Distaff to Unbridled Elaine and Spain.
"She was a very, very special filly to be associated with," said Graffeo. "She won her career debut in May of her 2-year-old year and thrilled us with graded stakes performances at Santa Anita, Belmont, Saratoga, Aqueduct, Delaware and Pimlico all the way through to the very end of her 4-year-old year."
Bred by Hal Snowden Jr . and Raymond Simpson, Two Item Limit (Twining -- Spa Warning, by Caveat) won from 4 1/2 furlongs to 1 1/8 miles and was trained by Stephen L. DiMauro. She captured seven of 28 starts.
