Max's Pal, a multiple stakes winner who earned $728,896, has arrived for stallion duty at Roy Lerman's Lambholm South near Reddick, Fla. The 6-year-old son of Marquetry out of the Storm Cat mare Singin Up a Storm will stand for $2,500 live foal.

Bred by Parrish Hill Farm, Max's Pal raced for owner Raymond Dweck and trainer Ben Perkins Jr., winning a dozen of 26 starts. He captured nine stakes, including five of the six added-money events in the 2000 Mid-Atlantic Thoroughbred Championships for 3-year-old sprinters. In doing so, he took home top honors in the division. Max's Pal also placed in three stakes, two of which were graded.

Dweck will retain an interest in Max's Pal, who will stand for a partnership.
