John Lee has been promoted to director of broadcasting for the New York Racing Association. Lee has been with NYRA for 12 years in a variety of communications positions, most recently as manager of broadcast services... Jim Cullen, most recently president of West Point Bloodstock Services, has opened J. Cullen Bloodstock, a Lexington-based agency that will concentrate on broodmare management, sales representation, and procurement of stallion seasons and shares. Cullen helped found West Point Bloodstock and also was active in West Point Thoroughbreds, which specializes in racing partnerships...The Thoroughbred Owners of California will offer "Ownership 101--An Introduction to Racehorse Ownership" Jan. 18 at Santa Anita from 8-11 a.m. Pacific time.
