Pat Valenzuela Hit With 3-Day Suspension

Santa Anita stewards handed Jockey Pat Valenzuela a three-day suspension Tuesday, effective Jan. 8.

The ruling was for Valenzuela's role in the interference that resulted in the disqualification of his mount, California Gold, from third to fourth place in a race Sunday.
