Alex Solis was scheduled to be released from Arcadia Methodist Hospital Sunday morning after an overnight stay following a spill in Saturday's ninth race at Santa Anita.

The Panamanian native, who will be 39 next March 25, was thrown when Most Likely broke down in mid-stretch in the one-mile turf race.

"He had a headache, but otherwise said he felt good," agent Scott McClellan said. "He won't ride (Sunday), but probably will on Tuesday or Wednesday.

"The fact that the horse rolled over him while Alex rolled simultaneously probably reduced injury by 1-20th of what it might have been if the horse had landed on him. Alex is a tough, fit son-of-a-gun."
