Stakes-placed Pappy's Halo will enter stud for owner Ed Marcello at Briar Hill Farm near Rehoboth, Mass. His fee is private. An 8-year-old son of Saint Ballado out of the What a Pleasure mare Cherished Fantasy, Pappy's Halo won six of 53 starts and earned $75,421. He was stakes-placed at Rockingham Park and equaled a 4 1/2-furlong track record there.
