Donald E. Jacobs, 70, whose training career at Finger Lakes Race Track
extended over 40 years, died Dec. 21 after a long battle with cancer. His best horses included stakes winners Post Tense and Strong Embrace.
Jacobs' survivors include his wife of 47 years, Patricia, and two sons and three daughters. Contributions in Don's memory may be made to the School of the Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Parkway, Rochester, N.Y. 14623.
