Platinum Tiara, whose richest effort was a second-place finish in the 2000 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I), has been retired. The 4-year-old daughter of Cozzene will be bred to A.P. Indy next year.

Rob Murphy's M375 Stables bred the filly with Gene McLean. Platinum Tiara made 28 starts for Murphy and partners in the M375 name and won three other stakes, including this year's Hillsborough Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs.

Platinum Tiara (Cozzene--Michelle's Monarch, by Wavering Monarch) retires with a 5-4-8 record and $608,785 in earnings. Most of those races came under the care of trainer Joseph J. Waunsch, but Neil Howard and John Kimmel also saddled the filly for a few starts each.
