Grade I winner Miner's Mark to Pin Oak Lane in Pennsylvania

Grade I winner Miner's Mark will stand the 2003 season at Dr. William Solomon's Pin Oak Lane Farm (Pennsylvania Division) near New Freedom. Formerly at DunHill Stud near Ocala, Fla., Miner's Mark has sired nine career stakes winners, and this year his runners have topped the $2 million mark in earnings.
A 12-year-old son of Mr. Prospector out of champion Personal Ensign (by Private Account), Miner's Mark won the Jockey Club Gold Cup (gr. I) and Jim Dandy Stakes (gr. II). His full brother, Our Emblem, sired dual classic winner War Emblem, and a half-sister, millionaire My Flag, is the dam of leading 2-year-old filly Storm Flag Flying,
Miner's Mark is owned by a partnership that includes William S. Farish and Ogden Mills "Dinny" Phipps and will stand for $3,500 live foal.
