Phone the King to Superstition in Kentucky

Phone the King, who placed in stakes at three different tracks, will enter stud at Jerry and Michelle Straw's Superstition Farm near Carlisle, Ky. A 7-year-old son of Phone Trick, Phone the King placed in the Aqueduct (gr. III) and Sportsman's Park Breeders' Cup Handicaps, plus the Your Host at Delaware Park. He won five of 45 starts and earned $320,557. His dam, Gale the Queen (by Dr. Blum), is a half-sister to millionaire King's Swan. Phone the King, who is leased by the Straws, will stand for $1,500.
