Black Witch, hip 64, is a daughter of Majestic Warrior and was purchased for $400,000 at the Keeneland April Sale.

Black Witch, a daughter of Majestic Warrior, was purchased by Hill ‘n’ Dale Sales for $400,000, the co-highest price at the Keeneland April sale of 2-year-olds in training.

Donato Lanni, the bloodstock services director of Kentucky-based Hill ‘n’ Dale, said he signed the sales ticket on behalf of a client of trainer Bob Baffert. The filly was consigned as Hip No. 64 by Eddie Woods, agent.

Produced from the Johannesburg mare South African Baby, the filly bred by T/C Stable had previously gone through the sales ring twice.

Consigned by Blake-Albina Thoroughbred Services to the 2010 Keeneland November breeding stock sale, the filly was purchased by Twin Peaks Racing for $95,000. Pinhooked into the 2011 Keeneland September yearling sale by St. George Sales, agent, the filly was reported sold to Windmill Manor for $115,000.
