Southern Hemisphere Star Sunline Scheduled To Sell At Keeneland In January

Australia and New Zealand Horse of the Year Sunline is among the horses catalogued for the 2003 Keeneland January horses of all ages sale. She has been consigned to the Central Kentucky auction as a broodmare prospect by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.
A 7-year-old daughter of Desert Sun, Sunline has earned $6,627,780 and has won 13 group I events in Australia, New Zealand, and Hong Kong. She was Australia's Horse of the Year in 2000 and 2001. She also was a three-time (1999-2001) New Zealand Horse of the Year.
In a story that appeared in the April 20, 2002 edition of The Blood-Horse, Alastair Bull wrote that Sunline was "widely regarded as the best mare to ever race in Australia or New Zealand.
Sunline is scheduled to be offered on Jan.6 during the five-day sale's opening session.
