Golden Missile 6-5 Favorite for Hawthorne Gold Cup

Stronach Stables Golden Missile has been installed as the 6-5 morning-line favorite for the $500,000 Hawthorne Gold Cup (gr. III) Saturday at Hawthorne. The 1 1/4-mile race, in which Golden Missile finished second last year prior to finishing third in the Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I), also features Mula Gula, Puerto Madero, and Blazing Sword.

The field for the Gold Cup will consist of:
