Hollywood Prevue Draws Field of Seven

Roll Hennessy Roll, a three-time winner in New Mexico and third-place finisher in the Sunny Slope Stakes at Santa Anita, is expected to be a top contender in Saturday's $125,000 Hollywood Prevue Stakes (gr. III) at seven furlongs.

To be ridden by Alex Solis, Roll Hennessy Roll is a co-highweight at 119 pounds in the small field of seven 2-year-old colts. Taliano, with Laffit Pincay Jr., is the other colt carrying 119.

Trainer Bob Baffert nominated eight for the race, but entered just one, Sailinwithcaptain, who is seeking his third straight victory.

Baffert won the Prevue three straight years from 1996-98 with In Excessive Bull, Commitisize and Premier Property, respectively.

Jimmy O, who will be ridden by Kent Desormeaux. worked four furlongs in :49.60 at Hollywood Wednesday for trainer David LaCroix.

The Prevue serves as a prep for the Grade I Hollywood Futurity Dec. 21.
