Updates on marketing, television, and technology will highlight the agenda for the National Thoroughbred Racing Association membership meeting set for Oct. 12-13 in Lexington, Ky., at the Keeneland sale pavilion. The meeting is open to all NTRA members and industry media, but advance registration is requested.Topics for the meeting include a financial review and 2001 membership agreements and dues; the Breeders' Cup/NTRA operational merger; legislative and regulatory issues; status of a proposed industry technology venture; NTRA initiatives in television, advertising, sponsorships, and promotions; and updates on TheGreatestGame.com, NTRA Charities, and the Racing Integrity and Drug Testing Task Force.Sessions on both days will go from 9-11 a.m. and be followed by a question-and-answer period.
