Louisiana Racing Official A.J. Goubler Dead

A.J. Goubler, second vice chairman of the Louisiana State Racing Commission, died Nov. 19 at a New Orleans hospital following a brief illness. He was 62.
Goubler was second vice chairman for six years. He served on the rules committee, legal committee, and race track liaison committee. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, and a son, Barry.
