American Brass, Sky Approval to Rolling Oaks in Texas

Graded stakes winner Sky Approval and track-record setter American Brass will enter stud at Paul Jordan's Rolling Oaks Farm near Kingsbury, Texas. Each will stand for $2,000.
An 8-year-old son of With Approval, Sky Approval won the Aqueduct Handicap (gr. III) among his 10 wins from 72 starts and earned $394,787. His stakes-winning dam, Skylak (by Partez), is a full or half-sister to three stakes winners, and his third dam is a half-sister to champion T.V. Lark.
American Brass, a 5-year-old son of Dixieland Band out of graded stakes winner Arches of Gold (by Strike Gold), set a track record of :59.36 for about five furlongs at Brockton Fair and was stakes-placed. He won five of 18 races and earned $71,229.
