Australian trainer Danny Bougoure is hoping for another successful trip to the Hong Kong International Races on Dec. 15. Bougoure has won the Hong Kong Sprint (HK-I) for the past two years with Falvelon hopes also to enter Scenic Park in the Hong Kong Mile (HK-I).
The 5-year-old gelding Scenic Park won the major group I mile race of the VRC Melbourne Cup carnival 10 days ago, getting the mile in 1:33.4-- bettering the track record by more than half a second. Scenic Park has won 11 of 26 starts.
Falvelon most recently ran second to Choisir in the group II Emirates Classic at Flemington on Nov. 7.
Bougoure plans to fly both horses to Hong Kong on Dec. 5.
