Recovering Delahoussaye Visits Backstretch

Hall of Fame jockey Eddie Delahoussaye, sidelined since sustaining injuries in a spill Aug. 30 at Del Mar, visited the Hollywood Park stable area for the first time this meeting Sunday with his wife, Juanita.

He was greeted by a long line of well-wishers.

"I still need another month of therapy on my neck and back," said Delahoussaye, 51. "Then I'm supposed to have another MRI or cat-scan to determine whether I come back or not."
