Trainer Niall O'Callaghan will add Governor Brown, a European group-winning import, to his stable hoping that he will develop into a contender for next spring's major races for 3-year-olds.

O'Callaghan purchased Governor Brown, a son of Kingmambo, for an undisclosed price for new owner William Schettine.

Governor Brown won the Group III Somerville Tattersal Stakes at Newmarket and was third to Dalakhani in the Group I Criterium International at France's Saint-Cloud on Oct. 2 for former trainer Paul Cole.
