Sunday's live Thoroughbred racing program at Woodbine has been cancelled due to heavy snowfall in the Toronto area over the past 18 hours. It was the second straight day that severe weather has contributed to conditions that are unsafe for racing.
Woodbine will continue to offer full card simulcasting from Aqueduct, Churchill, Calder and Hollywood this afternoon.
Sunday's feature races, the $100,000 Sunny's Halo Stakes and $150,000 Bessarabian Stakes (gr. III), will be run on Wednesday evening.
Live thoroughbred racing is expected to resume on Wednesday, with first race post time set for 6:45 p.m.
